I have visited a new Kurdish friend, “B,” twice and spoken with him on the phone several times.  He is very curious about his Kurdish history and has admitted that his ancestors were a mix of “Yazidi, and Christian” before they were Muslim.  From that, I was able to show him in Acts where the Medes were part of the first believers in Jerusalem.  He was very interested in this.  I gave him a copy of the “God Story” in Kurdish.  He called to tell me that he had watched the movie with his wife, kids, and some cousins.  He said he liked hearing “correct teaching” in Kurdish.  I plan to go visit him with another teammate in the next few days.

Pray that “B” would believe not the past state of his people, but that he would be one of the first of many Kurdish believers in the present!
