Please plead with the Father on behalf of the ½ million refugees living in our city. Many of them escaped their homes with only the clothing on their backs and what they could carry. They live in tents, abandoned buildings, schools, churches, under bridges, etc. We have seen first hand the loss of human dignity they suffer on a daily basis, from cleaning themselves in toilet water to fighting over a small bag of clothes. Right now their main concern is the approach of winter and the rainy season.

Please ask for provision for their immediate physical needs.  Pray that people would be moved to help in the face of this human suffering.  Ask that the local church would rise up and care for its own.  Pray they would hear and receive the good news of Jesus Christ.
