Please pray for *Faith, a kurdish women from Southeastern Turkey. My children are best friends with her daughter, but I have never met the mother until recently. The mother and father separated, the father works out of the country most of the time and the daughter lives with her grandmother and aunts. The mother left her family to marry this man so they disowned her. Now that she is divorced, she has no family.
Our family includes the daughter in many of our activities and she was even given permission to attend church in our home one week. Please pray for more opportunities to build a relationship with the mother, aunts and grandmother and to be able to continue to pour the gospel into this broken family. Pray that the gospel would take root in their hearts and bring about genuine Faith in them all. Pray that God would restore what the locust have eaten and do abundantly more than all we could ask or imagine in this family! Pray for the daughter, *Iris, as my daughters continually share with her.
