I have been praying for opportunities to share with the players on the football team that I coach, but the opportunities just have not presented themselves. Following the birth of our son, he seems to be a major topic of discussion with the players. One of the players asked me before practice started how my son was doing and then, knowing that I am a Christian, asked if we baptized him. This was an opportunity that I had been looking for. I told him about how we are not born as Christians but must choose to follow Christ and that it would be after my son has professed his belief and faith in Christ that we will baptize him. The football player responded that it was great that we had to choose. Please pray that this will open up further opportunities to share with this young man.
