Last month, when we visited a particular neighborhood in Istanbul, we met “Uncle M.” God put him in our path and after helping him get to the metro, he gave my roommate his number and told her to call to get connected with his daughters. She called, and one of his daughters visited our house church. Later, we went to hang out with Uncle’s two daughters (who are a bit older than us). They showed us around their area and we had fun. While my roommates shared the gospel with one sister, I was able to have a spiritual conversation with the other sister using a gospel-sharing method I have been learning. However, things got interrupted before I was able to finish. Praise the Lord for a random encounter with a man lead to sharing the gospel with random ladies we never would have met otherwise!
