Discouragement: Our heads hurt. We are sick. The weather is cold.
Event: We let our son play at the park for a couple minutes, hoping it would use up his energy so we could get more sleep one evening and get through our sickness. Then, an extremely talkative Kurdish lady wanted to talk with us. She has a 3-year-old son who was playing with our son.
My wife proceeded to get her number and learned that she lives near us. Will you please pray for Sultan*, that they can get together again soon?
Learning moment: Ministry is not always convenient and certainly does not always happen how we plan or when we feel the best. May we trust our sovereign God to work in the midst of our weakness!
