Please pray for S, a Kurdish woman who has been a believer for many years. At 16, against her family’s wishes, she married a Muslim man, saying that everything would be okay. And it was for a while. 12 years, two children, and many real life moments later, her husband has lost all patience with her persistent belief in Christ. He beats her. Sometimes badly. This week he did again, only this time she had no where else to go as her mother was out of town. He seems to be trying to make her divorce him, which is legal, but would likely mean she would lose her children.
Please pray that the Lord would continue to preserve her in her faith and that she would continue to be a witness to the truth of the Gospel even in such dark circumstances. Pray that the husband, through her humble example, would be changed and love Christ as well.
