If you watched the news this summer, many of you heard about the Yezidi people in Northern Iraq. They are a distinct Kurdish people group who practice a different religion than those around them. Many of them suffered great persecution this summer as a result of those differences. Even now many of them continue to suffer.

Pray that those in captivity would be released. Pray that those who suffered so greatly this summer would receive comfort and would know the hope that is only found in Christ. Pray they would hear the good news. Because this is an unreached unengaged people group, pray for workers to be sent into this harvest.
