On two different occasions this past month we were reminded of the power of reaching out to ONE person with the love and gospel of Christ and how that can spread. The first involved the visitor, “M,” who came to a recent baptism celebration picnic. Since attending the picnic with the Kurdish fellowship, he has come to our worship gatherings on two other occasions. Before one of those gatherings, I was able to help him with an English test for a job interview and M introduced me to two of his friends, both of whom are masters students. Right after meeting them, they came with us to the gathering where they met Kurdish believers and heard the gospel clearly preached for the first time. Unfortunately, M will be leaving to work in another country for a year, but he has heard the Good News on multiple occasions and we now have met two of his friends who are interested in learning more about our faith. Pray that M will believe, along with his friends. Pray that in the country he is leaving to work in for a year that he would meet believers who would further share the gospel and apply it to his life!
