While in language class in Turkey, an expat worker began answering questions in class with Truth-laced answers. His teacher finally asked if he was a religious man. The expat answered that question by asking what it meant to be “religious.” This led to an opportunity to share the gospel with the entire class.
From that point forward, the teacher kept asking questions that would open the door for the expat to share again and again. One day, the entire class stayed behind 30 extra minutes as they had a gospel conversation. The expat asked if they would be interested in receiving a Bible and the teacher responded by saying, “Yes, please bring us a Bible.” A few days later, he was able to give out Bibles to his teacher and the class.
Please pray that the Word given would not return void! Pray for continued boldness for this “religious” person!
