There is a new believer in a very remote part of Iraqi Kurdistan. A new believer, “Salam”, came to faith in Christ as a graduate student in India. He has now returned home. As far as he knows, he is the only believer in his community located in a very remote and currently unstable area of the region in which we live. What Salam does not yet know is that there are already two believing Kurd families living in the same city. Praise the Lord for how He is working, and ask for grace and strength for these believers to gather together despite the fear and suspicion local believers often have toward each other.
