Sowing Opportunities
October 15
- Pray for one of our local partners, John, as he is regularly sharing with people in our neighborhood. Our fellowship is new and small, but with partners like John, we stay encouraged and hopeful. Pray for the seeds he’s sowing to bear fruit, and for him to continue sharing clearly and boldly. Pray particularly for two local Kurdish men, Bulent and Shaban, to trust in Christ. We’ve been meeting with them regularly over the past few weeks.
- Please pray for the over 400 people who heard the gospel at a recent outreach event in Istanbul. Pray that God would open their hearts to respond to the gospel they heard, read and/or saw in picture form at the event.
- Please pray for a Kurdish woman named Dawn, who heard the gospel and lives close to our team.
- Please pray for the repeat hearers who think the island has some kind of magical properties, that they would come in relation with the one true One who hears our prayers wherever we are.
- One young woman took a picture on her phone of the story she heard. Please pray she will read it over and over again and that it would sink deep into her heart.
- One young woman took a New Testament because she knew her uncle wanted to read it. Please pray for her and her uncle!
- Please pray for those with henna on their hands, that the gospel would reproduce itself exponentially and that it would bear lasting fruit.
- Pray that fellowships around the city would be flooded in the coming weeks by those who heard, and that they would see live, authentic faith.
