That Fruit Would Remain

Praise God for drawing Hakan to Himself! Hakan, whom you prayed for last month, responded to the gospel and has chosen to follow Jesus Christ! Please continue to pray for Hakan – for his spiritual growth and discipleship.

Many of my main contacts I have been investing in have recently started to show their lack of interest in hearing truth. It is discouraging, but it has also been an opportunity to step back and reconsider in whom I am investing. Please pray for me to have wisdom in knowing where to spend my time and also for the Lord to bring people into my path who are open to hearing about the truth.

Please also pray for Barbara*, a fairly new believer who has struggled with family who will not allow her to attend church gatherings and who make her life very difficult. Pray for her to find her hope in Christ, not in the roller coaster of her surroundings. Particularly, pray for her alcoholic father’s heart to be softened to the gospel and to love his daughter more than his reputation in the community. Pray that we will be able to do discipleship lessons together and that Barbara will grow and be filled with the joy of the Lord.
