John* recently went on a trip to a neighboring country to do ministry among the Kurds. When John visited the home of a Kurdish family, he was surprised to find a lot of people gathered at the home. One of the young ladies that lived in the home was even more surprised to see John walk into their home. She explained to John that she had listened to his sermons on Facebook.
She then excitedly told John the following story: “Last night, God revealed to me in a dream that a Christian man would be visiting our home the following day. God told me that the man would bring the ‘bread’ that we all needed to eat. When I woke up, I shared my dream with my friends and family and gathered as many people as I could to wait for the Christian man to bring us this ‘bread’ that we needed to eat. We have all been sitting here at my home all day waiting for you to arrive. I never imagined that it would be you, since you don’t even live in this country!”
John was then able to share with the group about the ‘bread’ that this young lady had seen in her dream. He shared with them about the Bread of Life, Jesus Christ, who could transform their lives forever. Praise the Lord!
