Our language helper, Sally*, is a new believer, but her husband, Frank*, did not appear to care one way or the other for a long time. Sally occasionally brought her pastor to visit and talk to Frank, but he did not listen much. He simply was not very interested.
But, when a Kurdish believer and I started visiting him regularly and sharing stories about Jesus in the Kurdish language, he became more interested. The process has been slow, though.
I began praying for him regularly. Now, he listens to the gospel in Kurdish and tells me that he believes that it is true. He began attending church worship services and seems to be listening closely and interacting with what is said. I asked him recently what is stopping him from surrendering His life to Christ, and he said that he has more questions. God is moving in his heart, and I hope to report soon that he has trusted Christ and has been baptized.
Will you please pray for Frank’s salvation?
