Some American believers in Turkey went to the beach this summer. Soon after they sat down, a family came and set up next to them. The Americans guessed they were Kurds, and, after a while, they started talking. Sure enough, they were from Diyarbakir. One of the Americans was a history writer, and the guy from Diyarbakir was a history teacher. They had a lot to talk about! The Kurd was pretty well versed in his own religion, so they talked about religion for a while. He told the American that he loved to read, so they gave him a book about Jesus and the history of the early Church — namely Luke, Acts, and Romans. Please pray that this man and his family would read this portion of God’s Word and that God would draw them to Himself!
